How I Grew My Threads Account to 23k In 90 Days

Three months ago, I decided to take Threads seriously. Not in a “posting 10 times a day and obsessing over metrics” kind of way — but seriously, as in showing up with intentionality.

And what happened? In 90 days, my account grew to over 23,000 followers.

But more importantly, my email list grew massively, my course started selling more passively, and I finally felt like I was building something sustainable.

Here’s exactly what made the difference.

I Knew Exactly Who I Was Writing For

Before I ever worried about growth, I spent a lot of time understanding exactly who I wanted to attract.

Not just demographics — but desires, pain points, feelings.

I wasn’t writing for “female entrepreneurs” or “creators.” I was writing for the girl who’s tired of chasing virality.

The one who wants a slower life, dreamy digital income, cozy vibes, and to finally trust her voice online.

The one who’s probably tried content creation before but never felt fully seen in it.

Once I knew her inside and out, everything clicked.

I Didn’t Try to Be Loud — I Focused on Resonance

Threads is full of noise. Bold statements, viral hooks, performative advice.

That’s never been my style.

Instead of trying to compete with loud voices, I made my Threads account feel like a cozy corner of the internet — one where people could pause, exhale, and read something that made them feel seen.

Some days I shared a thought. Other days a short story. Often, it was just a reflection or a reminder.

But most importantly, as I mentioned above, I focused on understanding my ideal audience’s desires and what they love to read about.

I never felt pressure to “perform” — and I think that’s why people stuck around.

I Reposted My Best Threads Again and Again

If something worked, I reused it. Period.

One of my top-performing Threads has been posted 4+ times — and it performs every time. Slight tweaks. New formatting. Same core idea.

Why? Because:

  • Not everyone sees your post the first time
  • People forget
  • New followers show up every day
  • Repetition builds recognition

This is how I grew fast without burning out.

I didn’t sit down and write 100 new ideas a week. I studied what was working, and I doubled down on it.

I Let the Right People Come to Me

I didn’t push my paid offers. I didn’t pitch constantly or write threads trying to convert cold followers into buyers.

I focused on building trust, storytelling, and giving people a sense of who I am.

And when they wanted more — they found it. In my bio, in my link, in my emails.

People don’t want to be sold to 24/7. They want to be understood. That’s what I focused on.

I didn’t Scream About My Offers — I Created a Calm Brand Presence

If you scroll through my Threads, you won’t see me pushing sales every day.

Yes, I have a course. Yes, I want to grow my business.

But I built my account with a very clear intention: to create a calm, welcoming space.

A feed that feels like a soft exhale. A digital living room, not a loud marketplace.

This meant focusing on content that resonated — not just content that sold. I trusted that if my content made people feel seen, they’d naturally become curious about how I do things.

And they did.

Many of my customers found me through a single thread, joined my email list, and bought weeks later — all without me “pitching” hard on the platform.

Final Thoughts

I didn’t grow on Threads by using a perfect strategy or posting 10 times a day. I grew because I treated it like a real space — one where people come to feel something.

If you’re trying to grow your Threads account, ask yourself: Are you trying to get attention? Or are you trying to build connection? Because once I started showing up with more clarity, calm, and honesty — everything grew naturally from there.

Ps. Want more honest, soft girl CEO stories like this? My email Diaries are where I write the things that don’t fit in a Thread — real moments, lessons, and how I’m actually building a business that feels like me.
